Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Fiori/UI5 Consultant with deep expertise in S/4HANA development and at least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom Fiori applications, OData services, and modern ABAP solutions, while providing technical leadership to ensure scalable and high-performing solutions.

Key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Build SAPUI5/Fiori applications and custom extensions in alignment with S/4HANA best practices.
Backend Development: Develop and expose OData services, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, AMDPs, and other modern ABAP artifacts.
S/4HANA Extensibility: Work on in-app extensibility, custom fields and logic, and side-by-side extensibility on SAP BTP.
Solution Leadership: Provide technical leadership in architecture, performance optimization, and code quality through reviews and best practices.
Collaboration: Partner with functional consultants, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with SAP innovations, tools, and development frameworks to recommend improvements and ensure long-term scalability.
Skills & requirements
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with strong expertise in SAPUI5/Fiori.
Minimum 2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects.
Strong knowledge of OData services, CDS Views, AMDPs, BOPF, RAP model, and modern ABAP programming.
Proven experience with S/4HANA extensibility options (in-app and side-by-side on BTP).
Strong understanding of SAP Fiori design guidelines, UX principles, and integration patterns.
Ability to lead technical discussions, provide design authority, and perform performance tuning.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP BTP CAP model, Cloud Foundry, or integration with non-SAP systems.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
SAP certification(s) in ABAP on HANA, Fiori, or S/4HANA extensions is a plus.
