Job description
We are seeking SAP FICO professionals across multiple seniority levels to strengthen our Finance & Controlling practice. You will work on designing, implementing, and supporting robust SAP FICO solutions to enable world-class financial operations for global clients. Depending on the role, you will contribute as a functional consultant, solution lead, program/project manager, or solution architect.
Key responsibilities
Consultant (SAP FICO)
Configure and support SAP FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Profit Center/Cost Center Accounting, COPA, etc.).
Analyze business requirements, perform GAP analysis, and provide functional solutions.
Work on month-end/year-end closing, financial reporting, and controlling processes.
Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
Collaborate with FI–MM–SD–PP integration points and technical (ABAP/BW) teams.
Provide UAT, end-user training, and production support.
Lead Consultant (SAP FICO)
Drive workshops with finance stakeholders (CFO, Finance Controllers, Business Analysts).
Lead solution design for complex financial processes and integrations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and local statutory requirements.
Lead small-to-mid SAP FICO implementations and manage a team of consultants.
Validate deliverables, ensure best practices, and mentor junior consultants.
Provide guidance on S/4HANA Finance innovations (Central Finance, Universal Journal).
Project Manager (SAP FICO / Finance Transformation)
Manage end-to-end SAP FICO/Finance Transformation projects.
Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and ensure delivery within KPIs.
Coordinate with finance leadership, IT stakeholders, and consulting teams.
Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and ensure governance compliance.
Drive organizational change management for finance functions.
Deliver executive-level project status updates and ensure adoption success.
Architect (SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance)
Define end-to-end SAP Finance architecture, roadmap, and strategy.
Design scalable, integrated solutions (FICO, Treasury, Central Finance, Group Reporting).
Advise CXOs on finance digital transformation leveraging S/4HANA Finance capabilities.
Define global templates and rollout strategies across multiple geographies.
Lead integration with SAP and non-SAP systems (Treasury systems, Tax engines, BI tools).
Evaluate new SAP Finance offerings (Group Reporting, Central Finance, BPC, SAC).
Provide thought leadership in process optimization, automation (RPA), and analytics.
Skills & requirements
For Consultant:
3–6 years SAP FICO experience with 1–2 full-cycle implementations.
Strong knowledge of FI and CO submodules (GL, AR/AP, AA, CCA, PCA, COPA).
Good integration knowledge with SD, MM, PP.
For Lead Consultant:
7–10 years of SAP FICO experience, including global rollouts.
Strong functional expertise in accounting, controlling, and financial compliance.
Hands-on S/4HANA Finance exposure (Universal Journal, Fiori, etc.).
For Project Manager:
10+ years SAP FICO/Finance Transformation experience.
Proven record in managing SAP Finance projects (implementation/rollout).
Strong stakeholder management, reporting, and governance skills.
PMP/Prince2/Agile certifications a plus.
For Architect:
12+ years of SAP FICO experience with deep S/4HANA Finance expertise.
Experience defining large-scale finance architecture and integration strategies.
Strong background in accounting principles and finance advisory.
Hands-on Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance.
Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
Multi-country rollout experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and consulting skills.
