Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Python Developer to join our technology team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building scalable back-end systems and APIs, with a strong understanding of Python frameworks and software engineering best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and automation tools using Python.
- Work with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI to build high-performance web applications.
- Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms for processing large datasets.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services (e.g., REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code, and participate in code reviews.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment.
Skills & requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python and one or more web frameworks (preferably Django/Flask/FastAPI).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Good understanding of data structures, OOP, and design patterns.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
