Job Description:

The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong client relationships, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. This role requires expertise in audiovisual and scenic fabrication, as well as a strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate has experience in the live events industry, a passion for client engagement, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for building and managing the delivery of a portfolio of projects.
  • Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions under the guidance of senior management.
  • Establish client requirements and work with the relevant Project Managers to provide technical and fabrication solutions within budget.
  • Ensure project budgets are maintained, monitoring margins, SOPs, and financial targets.
  • Always meet deadlines for quotes and proposals, whether handled alone or with Project Managers.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Project Managers to allocate resources effectively.
  • Maintain all client contacts and project details within the company database.
  • Present concepts and summarize results during multiple client meetings.
  • Assist in the development of proposals in line with company guidelines, supported by design and management teams.
  • Develop account strategies, leading projects from conception to execution.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including client satisfaction scores, sales targets, and revenue forecasts, providing regular updates to management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations outlining account activities, revenue projections, and business opportunities.
  • Assist staff and projects, motivating and mentoring staff to hit goals and produce key project materials, as well as providing feedback.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager in a UAE-based AV or scenic fabrication industry, primarily serving event agencies, brands, and government entities in the GCC region.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in managing and selling technical and fabrication production services for the live event industry.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients, negotiating contracts, and converting business in the events industry.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-standard live events and projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong presentation and communication abilities, and a collaborative team player.
